Castles UK (Mattresses) Ltd was established in 2001 by David Baldwin in a modest workshop in Tockwith, just outside of York. Now, as a proud family owned business, we operate from a 20,000 square ft factory in Tockwith, supported by a team of experienced professionals, dedicated to producing high quality furniture.
No project is too big or too small. We specialise in designing a wide range of spaces, including bedrooms, classrooms, libraries, offices, common rooms and technology suites.

Our exciting new Thai venture
In 2023, we expanded our operations into Thailand, further strengthening our ability to provide high-quality furniture at competetive prices.
While we continue to program and assemble all products in our York factory, the Thai range offers a more sustainable and cost effective alternative, with a wider variety of colour options - delivering a 20% discount without compromising quality.
